Here is the cover designed by CMR for the artist zines for Psychedelic Summer.

We are currently seeking ad revenues inside of the zine for paying the print cost. Half and quarter slots available, and one/eighths available for bloggers at a special rate. Record labels, stores, fashion lines, design houses, mom & pops, shoe companies, magazines, ect

all pages within are 11x17, will be premiered at the event and distributed worldwide

WHO IS.. ZIG ZAG

Zig Zag is gonna be opening for Golden Triangle at the CMRTYZ x A.OK event at the Williamsburg event. But who is Zig Zag?! He is Chris Contreas Neal- native of Puerto Rico and welcome addition into everything we're doing. Still pretty under the radar, but really great garage rock tunes. CMR is designing a ZZ pin for your fave jacket or sweater that you can get at the event. His back up band is, in his own words:

ricardo from a band called los vigilantes recently sing w/ slovenly plays guitar and crys too

karen from foster care and peace killers play drums

and jose a random dude plays bass

yeah all boricuas

jajaj

latin lovers

DUDES- come for a night of fun music.

Did you guys know I'm into nerdy stuff like comic books?


It's true.

Well- for my part in the Psychdelic Summer zine and show- I'm going to be slicing together my more common form of art in xerox copier designs and putting it together with a lot of my illustration skills which I think never really get to get out there. It's gonna be the first show I've had where I'm putting together two very seperate parts of my art together. So we'll see how it goes. A source of inspiration for my illustration while I was really developing a style was Ben Templesmith. Check him out. I'll maybe start previewing stuff here on the blog soon. Means you gotta read more often, eh?
